In this report, I have summarised a few select innovation projects that I have encountered in my current role which I believe are relevant to the Australian power sector. Firstly I introduce the Energy Networks Association (ENA) through which I have engaged with two innovation projects. More specifically these are the ‘Automated Routing of Infrastructure’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence for Connection Offers’ projects. I then highlight some innovations within the distribution space at National Grid and the cost savings to the business associated with these developments. Finally I summarise other activities I’ve been fortunate enough to engage in during my placement
